FAQ

Common questions

What is the Ninety Loop?

The Ninety Loop is Dulceo's retest countdown — a gentle rhythm built around rechecking your numbers roughly every 90 days, which is about how often labs are typically repeated. You set your last test date, and the app counts toward your next one. Around day 80, Dulceo reminds you so you have time to book the appointment without rushing.

Why doesn't Dulceo count calories?

By design. Instead of tallying every bite, Dulceo uses the Plate Check — three simple toggles per meal that take a few seconds to log. It keeps the focus on steady, repeatable habits rather than daily arithmetic.

How does Apple Health work with Dulceo?

If you choose to connect it, Dulceo reads your weight from Apple Health — that's all, and it's entirely optional. You can revoke access anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health. Manual weight entry always works, with or without Health.

Where is my data stored?

On your phone, and only there. Dulceo has no account, no cloud sync, and no analytics — nothing you log ever leaves your device. That's a deliberate choice for a health app.

How do I restore Pro purchases?

Open Dulceo, go to Settings, and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. Your Pro access should return within a few seconds.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us. You can view, change, or cancel yours anytime in your App Store subscription settings. Canceling keeps Pro active until the end of the current billing period.

Can Dulceo tell me if I have prediabetes?

No. Dulceo shows where a value sits on reference ranges published by the American Diabetes Association — that's education, not a diagnosis. Only your clinician can interpret your results, so always discuss your numbers with them.

Deleting your data

Because everything lives on your phone, deleting the app deletes your data. There's no server copy, no account to close, and nothing left behind anywhere else. If you reinstall later, you'll start fresh.
