Privacy Policy

The short version

Everything you enter in Dulceo stays on your phone. Dulceo has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs. The app makes no network calls of its own. We cannot see your data — by design.

What Dulceo stores (on your device only)

• Profile basics you enter: age, sex, height, weight, activity level, unit preferences
• Lab values you log (A1C, fasting glucose) and their dates
• Weight entries, Plate Check meal logs, and optional waist/blood-pressure entries
• Your Ninety Loop history (retest cycle dates)

All of it lives in the app's local database on your device. It is included in your device backups according to your iOS backup settings, and it is deleted when you delete the app. Dulceo does not sync this data to iCloud or anywhere else.

HealthKit

If you choose to connect Health, Dulceo reads your body weight only, to pre-fill and sync your weight log. Dulceo never writes to Health, never reads anything else, and never uses Health data for advertising, marketing, or sharing with third parties — this is both our policy and an Apple platform rule. You can revoke access anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health; manual entry always works.

Notifications

Reminders (weekly plan, optional weigh-in nudge, retest reminders) are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data leaves your phone.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. Dulceo checks your entitlement on-device via StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment information.

What we do NOT do

• No analytics or tracking of any kind
• No advertising, no ad identifiers
• No selling or sharing of any data (there is nothing to sell — we don't have it)
• No accounts, emails, or profiles on our side

Washington My Health My Data Act (and similar state laws)

Dulceo does not collect, share, or sell consumer health data — all health-related information you enter is processed and stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us or anyone else. Because we never receive your data, requests to access or delete data held by us are not applicable; deleting the app deletes your data. Residents of Washington and other states with consumer-health-data laws are covered by this same design.

Dulceo provides general wellness information and tracking. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your healthcare provider about your results and before making health changes. Not intended for use during pregnancy or by anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at dulceo.app/privacy with a new "last updated" date. Since the app ships with no networking, policy changes can only take effect through app updates you choose to install.
